Opening Cold Read

- Description
You've got your script "done," and you're getting ready to pass it over to the art team or pitch it...
A cold read of your first 10 pages is like performing a dress rehearsal before the big show. You want to catch the problems you missed, NOW before the artists or publishers read it.
Whether you are pitching a 22-page single issue or a 132-page graphic novel, your first 10 pages are your first impression, your audition. If you lost site of your Master Theme, your dialogue's exposition-heavy, or your pacing drags out of the gate, editors will stop reading, publishers will banish you to the pass pile, artists will consider that other project.
Don't guess if your opening works.
Send me the first 10 pages of your script. I'll do a cold-read markup, red-penning the fundamentals (or lack thereof), formatting and execution. You'll get a quick and dirty assessment on the effectiveness of your script so you know if your opening act survives contact with reality.
